The 22nd annual Brownilympics will be at Royal High School on Sat., April 1. Nearly 300 Simi Valley Brownie Scouts in first through third grades will participate in Olympic-style athletic events.

The event will begin with the parade of troops at 9 a.m. and opening ceremonies at 9:30 a.m. The games will be from 9:45 to 11:15 a.m. and from 12:30 to 2 p.m.

Award ceremonies will be at noon and 2 p.m., with closing ceremonies at 2:30 p.m.

Simi Valley City Council members are expected to participate in the opening ceremonies.
