The Simi Valley Hospital (SVH) Foundation will host the annual Hats Off to Women conference, luncheon and fashion show from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Fri., April 28 at the Grand Vista Hotel, 999 Enchanted Way in Simi Valley.

This fundraiser includes lunch, fashion show, women's boutique, silent auction and guest speakers. This year's event features Dr. Barton Goldsmith, a licensed psychotherapist and nationally syndicated columnist of "Emotional Fitness," which appears in the Ventura County Star and more than 100 other newspapers nationally.

At the event, Goldsmith will share tips and helpful information on deepening and transforming relationships through the power of emotional fitness.

Goldsmith's latest book, "Emotional Fitness for Couples, 10 Minutes a Day to a Better Relationship," is a step-by-step guide to forming a healthy relationship between loved ones.

The conference will also feature Sheila Cluff, syndicated columnist and author of four books, speaking on "Energy, Strength and Vitality--How to Get It and How to Keep It." Her talk will discuss healthy lifestyles for women through exercise.

Cluff is a 69-year-old mother of four and grandmother of six.
