Shaughn Ryan Stang was called to the Torah Sat., Feb. 25 at Temple Etz Chaim in Thousand Oaks. He is the son of Brenda and Jess Stang of Simi Valley and a seventh-grader at Valley View Middle School.

Jared, Melissa and Justin Edelson will be called to the Torah during a B’nai Mitzvah at Temple Etz Chaim in Thousand Oaks on March 18.

Their parents are Vicki Edelson, and Michael and Anna Edelson of Simi Valley.

The children are seventh-graders at Sinaloa Middle School and plan to continue their Jewish studies through confirmation.
