Simi Valley Hospital to offer free flu shots

Simi Valley Hospital will offer free flu shots from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sun., Nov. 6 at the Aspen Outpatient Center, 2750 N. Sycamore Drive in Simi Valley. Due to limited supply, vaccine will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

Vaccinations will only be given to children ages 6 to 23 months (birth certificate required) and adults age 65 and over (ID required).

The shots will also be given to the following persons with a written order from a physician: persons age 2 to 64 with underlying chronic medical conditions, women who will be pregnant during the influenza season, and children ages 6 months to 18 years on chronic aspirin therapy.
