Angelides right for California

On Wednesday evening June 29, I attended the Ventura County Democrats special evening for Phil Angelides, California treasurer and 2006 gubernatorial candidate.

It was great to have a candidate come to oft-forgotten West Ventura County and articulate so well the frustrations that Democrats have toward administrations in Sacramento and Washington that deride our values and backtrack on promises.

He told it like it is without piein-the-sky promises to change it. This is one voter anxious for California to get back on track. Phil Angelides appears to be the right engineer to do it. Roseann Markert Simi Valley
