The Simi Valley YMCA will host a one-and-a-half hour class on wills and trusts from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wed., Nov. 16. The YMCA is at 2300 Cochran St., Simi Valley.

The fee is $5 to cover the cost of handout materials. Reservations are not required.

The class will discuss advanced health care directives, durable powers of attorney, personal wills and revocable living trusts.

Class instructor is R. Marshall Frost, local estate planning and business law attorney. Frost will also discuss how to avoid probate and excessive estate taxes, plans to pass family assets to heirs, and other end-of-life estate, health, real estate and tax issues.
