Easy Street Ice Arena at 131 W. Easy Street in Simi Valley will offer free hockey lessons for kids ages 5 and up. Sessions will be 1 to 2 p.m. Sundays, Nov. 6, 13, 27 and Dec. 4 and 11 at the arena.

Lessons will be taught by the arena’s hockey director and former CHL player Luc Beausoleil.

Children will learn the fundamentals of ice hockey and play a fun scrimmage game in a supportive and encouraging environment. Ice skates and sticks will be provided, or children can bring their own. Mandatory equipment includes a helmet and gloves. Bike, skateboard or roller hockey protective gear can be used.
