RANDY THOMSON/Acorn Newspapers PAINTING FOR THE REFLECTIONS COMPETITION—Vivien Blau, 6, Taylor Pedersen, 5, Vivien’s twin sister, Brooke, and Jenna Ohler, 6, are painting on Monday after school during the  National  PTA  Reflections  Program  at  Hollow  Hills Fundamental School in Simi Valley. There are four different arts areas: literature, musical composition, photography and visual arts. Divided into four age groups, the K-12 competition isn’t about winning or losing, but about bringing a love and appreciation of the arts to the students.
