Educators currently teaching in grades K through 12 in the Simi Valley Unified School District are eligible to apply for a classroom grant from the Simi Valley Education Foundation.

Grants may be used to expand, enhance and improve the classroom’s academic environment; develop richer classroom curriculum; and provide students with learning experiences not possible through the school budget.

The grants are usually in the amount of $500 to $1,000 per classroom. Additional amounts may be requested and awarded.

Round 1 applications are due by Mon., Oct. 31, with funds to be distributed by Nov. 15. Grant application flyers are available at each school. The application must be completed online at ww.svef.org.
