Professor Steven Vann Smith of Amgen Inc. will host a free seminar, “The Principles of Ethics and Moral Dilemmas,” at 7 p.m. Tues., Oct. 25 at Santa Susana High School, 3570 Cochran St., Simi Valley. The lecture is sponsored by The Rotary Club of Simi Sunset and is open to the public.

Vann Smith is an adjunct professor of bioethics and ethics on two campuses. He has more than 14 years of clinical research and clinical drug trials experience as director of research, investigator, clinical research manager, clinical trials manager, research project manager and research scientist working at the corporate level with international pharmaceutical corporations and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, as well as working with academic core research labs.
