As part of its 10th anniversary celebration, The Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center has asked local artists to re-create artwork from past performance posters on the cement walls of the walkway to the center’s box office.

Starting at noon on Sat., Oct. 8, the public is invited to join the artists in chalking a yellow brick road on the center’s walkways at 3050 E. Los Angeles Ave., Simi Valley.

Host to musicals, plays, art shows, film screenings, concerts and more, the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center opened in November 1995.
