Website connects teens with cancer
There’s a helpful new resource available to teens struggling with the twin challenges of adolescence and a serious disease.
A new website has been created to empower teens who have cancer by connecting them with other young people with the same condition to help them find hope and support.
Developed by The Wellness Community, a nonprofit dedicated to helping people affected by cancer, the website, called GroupLoop.org, provides a free, safe, professionally supervised, online environment of support, education and hope.
The site also offers professionally facilitated, online support groups for teens and parents and educational resources at no cost. For more information, visit www.GroupLoop.org.
