Newscaster Jay Jackson of KCAL-TV, Los Angeles, will play and host the Ray Fields Memorial Scholarship Golf Tournament Sat., Oct. 8 at the Simi Hills Golf Course, 5031 Alamo St., Simi Valley. First tee time is 10:30 a.m.

The tournament is hosted by Simi Valley Second Missionary Baptist Church. Proceeds will provide college scholarships for at-risk youth.

Entry fee is $125 and includes bag of gifts, cart, contests and award dinner.

Hole-in-one prize is a new car donated by Simi Valley Ford.
