The Simi Valley Art Association will present an exhibit of paintings by local artists from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sat., Oct. 8 and 1 to 5 p.m. Sun., Oct. 9 at the Simi Valley Library, 2969 Tapo Canyon Road, Simi Valley.

The works to be exhibited were part of the association’s juried art show, and some prizewinners will be available for purchase. Proceeds go to the association’s annual art scholarship fund.
