Television artist John Kilduff will demonstrate his painting style at 7:30 p.m. Fri., May 30 at the Simi Valley Library, 2969 Tapo Canyon Road, Simi Valley, following a brief business meeting of the Simi Valley Art Association. A $5 donation is requested for guests.

Kilduff will show how he "builds" a painting and explain how he uses brushwork and mixes colors. He blocks the picture and then draws the details in a fluid process. Kilduff will produce a still life in oil to be raffled to the audience.

A graduate of the Otis Art Institute/Parsons School of Design, Kilduff exhibits in Southern California and is represented in corporate collections in New York and Los Angeles. He hosts the television show "Let’s Paint."
