For new mothers who wish to get physically fit while spending time with baby, Stroller Strides announces the grand opening of its new facility at Wood Ranch in Simi Valley.

The grand opening class begins at 9 a.m. Tues., April 5 and will normally run on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at 9 a.m. Local businesses will be donating more than $1,000 in raffle merchandise for the grand opening, including a B.O.B. Jogger, free classes at My Gym, gift certificates and more.

Stroller Strides is a power walking and circuit training class that new mothers can do with their babies in the stroller. During the class, the instructor stops for "body toning stations" where mothers will sculpt and strengthen using exercise tubes and/or the strollers.
