Loving Heart Hospice Foundation of Moorpark will be selling handmade heart pins to benefit hospice programs in Ventura County. Although particularly appropriate for Valentine’s Day gifts, sponsors are hoping the pins will be worn year-round to remind wearers about the hospice cause the pins represent.

The one-of-a-kind lapel pins from Designs by Lucinda are $20 each and can be purchased at two Moorpark locations: the Loving Heart Hospice Foundation office at 5400 Atlantis Court, and Traditions at 555 W. Los Angeles Ave.

Sixty-five percent of the cost of each pin goes directly to the hospice foundation to provide care for terminally ill patients and support for family members.
