When making decisions about who to vote for in the upcoming school board election, I encourage everyone to reelect Janice Di Fatta.

Janice has been actively involved with our schools for nearly 20 years. She has served in a number of community leadership positions, including president of the Simi Valley PTA Council. Under her leadership the council was awarded recognition by the California State PTA as being among the best in the state.

While serving as a school board member these past eight years, Janice continued her active involvement with our children and schools; she can always be found on the field at Junior Olympics, helping organize the community-wide Red Ribbon Rally or visiting schools.

It is obvious when watching school board meetings that Janice invests the time necessary to make informed, impartial decisions. She is prepared to make tough decisions, and always focuses on what’s best for the entire school district. More than anything, it is obvious Janice cares about our schools, children and community.

It is without hesitation that I support Janice Di Fatta for another four-year term on the Simi School Board. She has definitely had a positive impact in the community and in our schools.
