The West Ventura and Ventura College Job & Career Centers will consolidate into one new location at 4245 Market St., Ste. 201, Ventura. The new center, called the Ventura Job & Career Center, will integrate the services and staff of the existing Ventura locations.

The new center is designed for the convenience of job seekers in the Ventura area. Seventy percent of visitors to the Job & Career Centers receive public assistance. The location is adjacent to the Ventura Intake and Eligibility Center.

"The new center will be in a campus-like setting that provides one-stop access to employment services and other critical support services in a convenient location," said Miguel Orozco, center director.
