Habitat for Humanity of Ventura County will host its second annual Family Fun-day and Carnival on Sat., May 22 at the Rancho Simi Community Park in Simi Valley. This year’s theme is "Unity in the Community."

Activities will include a "Run, Walk, Ride, Glide" fundraising component as well as an old-fashioned carnival featuring games, contests, crafts and food. An opportunity drawing featuring donated prizes and gift certificates will also be held. Proceeds will go towards funding the construction of decent and affordable housing in Ventura County.

The Run, Walk, Ride, Glide will start and finish at the park. At 11 a.m. the carnival will get underway. For more information, call the Habitat office at (805) 485-6065.
