Grace Bretheran presents ‘Godspell’
Grace Brethren High School proudly presents "Godspell" on Thursday, May 13 and Friday, May 14 at 7 p.m. at the Theater on High Street, in Moorpark. "Godspell" was originally conceived and directed by John-Michael Tebelak, with music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz. "Godspell" shows the journey of Jesus through the book of Matthew as he meets his disciples and teaches them through his parables, death and resurrection. It is presented in a modern day scenario that today’s audiences can easily relate to.
Rachel Masie is directing Godspell with musical direction by Christi Ebenhoch. Godspell stars Adam Wilson as "Jesus," Charles Riccardi as "John the Baptist," Rachel Balich as "Mary Magdalene," Jordan Burnett as "Judas." Other stars include Kaitlin Siple, Paul Figueroa, Jasmine Grace, Amanda Brewer, Sarah Rollins and Raynor Strombeck.
