It is often said that in the marketplace of ideas, truth will win out.

It has been many years since the people of Simi Vallety have enjoyed multiple newspapers, each with the city’s name on their mastheads and competing for readers in the marketplace of ideas.

More voices, actively engaged, are the basis of a healthy society. It is in that spirit that I welcome The Acorn to Simi Valley.
