Newcomers Club welcome new members

The Conejo Valley Newcomers Club (CVNC) will host a variety of events this month. CVNC describes itself as "a social, nonpolitical, nonprofit, non-philanthropic, non-fundraising organization."

At 11 a.m. Wed., March 10, the club will host a welcome coffee at a member’s home in the Thousand Oaks area. The event is free to all those interested in joining the club or receiving more information on their activities. New residents of the Conejo Valley, Simi Valley, Moorpark and surrounding areas are invited to attend. Call for location and directions.

At 11 a.m. Wed., March 17 the club invites members, prospective members and their guests to a Newcomers Spring Luncheon at the Plug Nickel Restaurant, 717 Lakefield Road, Ste. I, Thousand Oaks. The event will feature raffle items and door prizes. Cost is $22 and reservations are required by Wed., March 10.

From 7 to 9 p.m. Wed., March 24, CVNC invites all new and long-term residents of Agoura, Calabasas, Camarillo, Moorpark, Newbury Park, Oak Park, Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks and Westlake Village to their annual free coffee.
