Between sometime in March and 3 p.m. April 29 in the 2400 block of Knightwood Place, the loss was $9,560 when 50 DVDs, 10 X-Box games, alcohol, various guitars and other miscellaneous items were stolen. Between 5:30 p.m. April 30 and 9:40 a.m. May 1 in the 3800 block of Eagle Flight Drive, the loss was $6,600 when two video monitors were stolen. Police arrested a suspect for trespassing at 4:21 a.m. May 2 in the 1200 block of Whitcomb Avenue. At 1 a.m. May 1 on First Street at Ashland, a vehicle was burglarized. The loss wasn’t reported. A thief stole $900 in cash between 8:30 p.m. April 29 and 8:45 a.m. April 30 in the 2900 block of Cochran Street. A suspect was detained for burglary and possession of a controlled substance at 8:30 p.m. April 30 in the 2100 block of Union Place. Police arrested a burglar at 6 p.m. April 30 in the 2300 block of Erringer Road. At 8 a.m. April 29 in the 600 block of South Todd Road, police arrested three burglars. Someone stole a paintball gun and accessories between 8:50 and 9 p.m. April 29 in the 2300 block of Tapo Street. The loss was $80. The loss was $550 when a digital camera, a radio and an electric razor were stolen between 8 p.m. April 27 and 5 a.m. April 28 in the 5300 block of Willow Oak Street. At 9:15 a.m. April 28 in the 1800 block of Patricia Avenue, police arrested a suspect for trespassing. Between 8:25 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. April 27 in the 300 block of Aristotle Street, the loss was $2,800 when jewelry was stolen. Authorities took a suspect into custody for robbery at 5:30 p.m. April 27 on Heywood at Morley. At 10 p.m. April 27 in the 1600 block of Los Angeles Avenue, police arrested a burglar. A suspect was taken into custody for battery at 4:30 p.m. April 27 in the 2500 block of Sycamore. At 12:45 p.m. April 27 in the 1300 block of Arcane Street, someone was detained for battery. Between April 27 and May 3, the following items were reported in the community: 10 incidents of possession of a controlled substance, three incidents of driving under the influence, one incident of illegal drug intoxication and one incident of public intoxication. |
