Between 3 p.m. April 10 and 5:30 a.m. April 11 at a construction site on E. Easy Street, the loss was $30,000 to $40,000 when portable welding machines and equipment were stolen.

Between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. April 8 in the 1700 block of Madera Road, someone stole three laptop computers. The loss was $15,000.

The loss was $3,500 when a laptop computer and a briefcase were stolen between 11:45 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. April 8 in the 1800 block of Madera Road.

Between 6 p.m. April 6 and 7:50 a.m. April 7 in the 300 block of Hornblend Court, the loss was $2,300 when a thief stole a laptop computer, a cell phone and some cash.

Someone broke into a vehicle and stole a stereo between 9:30 p.m. April 10 and 7:30 a.m. April 11 in the 1000 block of Donner Avenue. The total loss was $2,100.

A $2,000 computer was stolen between 8 p.m. April 8 and 6:30 a.m. April 9 in the 1800 block of Prance Court.

Between 8 p.m. April 10 and 8:15 a.m. April 11 in the 900 block of Red Pine Drive, the loss was $1,380 when CDs, a CD case and a satellite radio system were stolen.

A thief stole a backpack, textbooks and a CD case between 4 p.m. April 10 and 6:30 a.m. April 11 in the 800 block of Chelsea Court. The loss was $885.

A thief stole the rear window of a vehicle between 7 p.m. April 5 and 5:40 a.m. April 6 in the 1700 block of E. Cochran Street. The loss was $400.

A suspect was arrested for forgery and burglary at 5:30 p.m. April 11 in the 5800 block of Los Angeles Avenue.

A petty thief was detained at 2:30 a.m. April 10 on Copperfield at Sequoia.

At 10:10 p.m. April 9 on Erringer at Larch, police arrested a burglar.

At 4:30 p.m. April 8 in the 3300 block of Greenville, police arrested a suspect for battery.

Between April 6 and April 12, the following items were reported in the community: 14 incidents of possession of a controlled sub- stance or illegal drug paraphernalia, three incidents of illegal drug intoxication, three incidents of public intoxication and two incidents of driving under the influence.
