Police arrested someone for petty theft at 6:40 p.m. May 9 at the K mart on Tierra Rejada Road.

At 12:12 p.m. May 8 on Border Street at Lowery Street, authorities took a suspect into custody for domestic battery and vandalism. No damages were reported.

A person was arrested for burglary at 4:19 p.m. May 8 at Mervyns store in the 2800 block of Cochran Street.

Authorities apprehended someone for petty theft at 4:21 p.m. May 8 in the first block of East Tierra Rejada.

Between 5:30 and 7:40 p.m. May 7 at Fashion Show Transport in the 1400 block of Madera Road, the loss was $15,010 when several items of clothing were stolen.

A thief stole a stereo and a steel trailer hedge from a vehicle between 5:15 a.m. and 5 p.m. May 7 at the park and ride on Stearns Street. The loss was $900.

At 10:55 p.m. May 7 in the 5700 block of Deanna Avenue, police arrested a suspect for spousal abuse.

Between 4:30 and 4:41 a.m. May 7 in the 5700 block of Los Angeles Avenue, a thief stole five cartons of cigarettes and other items for a total value of $1,185.

Police arrested a suspect for petty theft at 8:15 p.m. May 6 at Walmart in the 200 block of Cochran Street.

The loss was $8,285 when a thief stole a 35mm camera, a video camera, two DVDs, some cash and some jewelry from a residence between 9:45 a.m. and 12:35 p.m. May 6 in the 1900 block of Mayland Place.

Between 2 and 6 p.m. May 6 in the 4200 block of Florence Street, a robber stole another person’s jewelry. The loss was $2,150.

The loss was $1,242 when 120 CDs, a CD case and some sunglasses were stolen from a vehicle between 10:15 p.m. May 5 and 6:20 a.m. May 6 in the 1300 block of Whitcomb Avenue.

Several miscellaneous items totaling $740 were stolen from a vehicle between 8:10 p.m. May 5 and 6:50 a.m. May 6 in the 5200 block of Alta Street.

Between 9 a.m. May 4 and 6 a.m. May 5 in the 1200 block of Cherry Avenue, a suspect stole an MP3 player, five CDs and other miscellaneous items.

At 11:30 p.m. May 5 in the 5200 block of Huckleberry Oak Street, two people were arrested for battery.

Police arrested a suspect for robbery and a gang crime at 6:43 p.m. May 5 on Sycamore at Cochran.

The loss was $1,470 when two guns, a computer, a guitar and some other items were stolen between 7 a.m. and 6:55 p.m. May 5 in the 3000 block of Jacinto Drive.

Between May 5 and May 11, the following items were reported in the community: four incidents of public intoxication, three incidents of driving under the influence, three incidents of possession of a controlled substance, two incidents of illegal drug intoxication and one incident of possession of a deadly weapon.
