Give credit to Sunday school teachers

Each week Sunday School teachers make a difference in the lives of children, youth and adults. Every year churches honor and pay tribute to these teachers who dedicate their time and resources by nominating them for the Sunday School Teacher of the Year award, with a chance to win a trip for two to Hawaii.

Announced on Sunday School Teacher Appreciation Day (the third Sunday in October), the winner of the Sunday School Teacher of the Year award also receives free curriculum and resources for their church along with the Hawaiian vacation. Sunday School Teacher Appreciation Day also gives present and former students the opportunity to remember their teachers with affection and appreciation.
