Seniors chip in to help soldiers in Iraq

Members of the Conejo Valley Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) of the Goebel Senior Adult Center, 1385 E. Janss Road in Thousand Oaks, will be making "Cool Ties" to keep the men and women in the military from overheating in the Iraqi desert where temperatures will reach 130 degrees.

The RSVP is seeking donations and/or a sponsor for the cost of shipping these items.
