     The Ventura Mariners won the Squirt B Championship Game of the Southern California Amateur Hockey Association on Sun., March 21 at the Long Beach Arena. The Mariners defeated the West Valley Wolves from Panorama City 3-1 to take the title.

     The Simi Valley and Royal baseball teams are locked in a four-way tie for second place in the tough Marmonte League, but that will change when the two teams go head-to-head today at 3 p.m.at Simi Valley High School.

Cheer, dance tryouts held
     The Wolfpack All-Stars Cheer and Dance Teams from Simi Valley won a total of eight national titles this competition season. They recently concluded their season with their last national championship in San Jose, winning three titles.

     The 2004 Royal High School boy’s volleyball season is in full swing. In the schedule at right, all freshman/sophomore games begin at 4 p.m. followed by the junior varsity at 5 p.m. and the varsity at 6 p.m.
