Michael coons/Simi Acorn RECOGNITION-Moorpark College Professor and Simi Valley resident Jack Miller receives the Presidential Award from Simi Valley Chamber of Commerce President Leigh Nixon during the Lew Roth Award Dinner last week at the Ronald Reagan Library. The Simi Valley Education Foundation sponsors the dinner and awards each year to raise funds for student scholarships and teacher classroom grants. (Former Simi Valley Board of Education member Lew Roth helped start the Foundation.) This year's event was co-chaired by City Councilmember Glen Becerra and his wife Sally.
